Developing 5D imaging particle detectors that resolve energy, time and three-dimensional position. PHINDER will explore how photonic neuromorphic processing can analyse complex optical signals close to the sensor.
Proton imaging and therapy
Investigating high-resolution sensing for proton therapy applications, including proton tomography. The consortium will develop simulations and validate and benchmark the project’s approaches.
Adaptive chemical process control
Exploring how fast optical detection and analysis can support adaptive chemical process control, connecting sensing with timely responses in industrial applications.
