Wolfger Peelaers represents Hewlett Packard Enterprise Belgium in PHINDER and leads WP2. His published work with Hewlett Packard Labs includes tensor-decomposition techniques for optical computing, with applications to integrated coherent Ising machines and optical multimodal fusion networks.
He earned his physics doctorate at Stony Brook University in 2015, studying supersymmetric and superconformal quantum field theories. His combination of mathematical modelling and optical-computing research is relevant to PHINDER’s co-design of photonic hardware and information-processing methods.
