Ripalta (Patty) Stabile is Associate Professor in Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology. Her research includes large-scale indium phosphide (InP) photonic integrated circuits, semiconductor optical amplifiers and the electronic control of integrated photonic systems.
She develops architectures that combine electronics and photonics for brain-inspired optical computing, using optical parallelism to pursue high processing speeds with lower power consumption. As PHINDER’s WP4 lead, she brings this expertise in integrated photonics and optical neural networks to the consortium’s photonic neuromorphic detector platform.
