Nicolás Babío Elguero

Nicolás Babío Elguerro is a doctoral researcher in particle detector instrumentation at the Universidad de Cantabria, working under the supervision of Pablo Martínez Ruiz del Árbol. As part of the PHINDER project, he develops Geant4 simulations for proton computed tomography systems, focusing on particle tracking, detector modeling, and data-driven optimization. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the Universidad de Cantabria and a master’s degree in Theoretical Physics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and the Instituto de Física Teórica (IFT).
